She also loves reading,  camping, and relaxing near just about any kind of water. She is up for almost anything, as long as she is with friends and family.

Candice Alizio

Candice has worked in the child and family development field for many years now. "I started working in childcare part time, when I was a business student at UNH.  My sister had an opening in the program she was working in and I jumped at the opportunity." It was then that Candice realized that she was in the wrong field; she had fallen in love with her work with young children. She switched her major and continued to work with infants and toddlers while she finished her degree in Child and Family Studies at UNH. Since then she has moved through the ranks from Assistant Teacher to Lead Teacher to Assistant Director of a large center in Massachusetts.  In this position she put her love and respect for children and families together with her business background to work as she learned how to launch and then operate a financially successful program.  Her favorite area of work included recruiting, hiring, and training new staff.
While at this corporate center, Candice also served in a key role by developing and implementing new hire orientations for more than 15 centers throughout NH and MA.

Since having her first son, and welcoming a second son soon after, Candice has worked as a Family Coach, license exempt provider, and as a consultant for The Teacher's Toolbox.

Candice and her husband, Jonathan, live in Sandown, NH.  Candice enjoys running, reading just about any book she can get on her Kindle, watching movies, camping, and enjoying whatever moments of quiet she can find to cuddle her boys.
